Beth's Visit to Clair de Lune on the Canal du Midi

Imagine a perfect, sunny day, and I have an appointment to visit the Clair de Lune, a 6 passenger deluxe barge, cruising on the Canal du Midi. I arrive to meet the new owners, Yves and Nathalie, a lovely French couple. "Would you like to stay for lunch?" they say with friendly smiles.
